At EveryCare Home Care Company, we are looking for a compassionate and reliable Home Care Assistant to support individuals living independently across Cambridgeshire and Huntingdonshire.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping others, building meaningful relationships, and making a genuine difference in people’s everyday lives. You will provide practical support, companionship, and reassurance, helping clients remain safe, comfortable, and confident in their own homes.
No two days are the same, and full training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Providing companionship and emotional support to clients
- Assisting with light domestic tasks such as cleaning and tidying
- Supporting meal preparation and ensuring good nutrition
- Helping with shopping and basic errands
- Assisting clients with technology where required (phones, tablets, Wi-Fi)
- Accompanying clients to appointments or social activities (where applicable)
- Promoting independence, dignity, and wellbeing at all times
- Reporting any concerns or changes in a client’s condition to management
- Caring, patient, and empathetic nature
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable and punctual with a strong sense of responsibility
- Willingness to undergo a DBS check
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Previous care experience is beneficial but not essential
